My style is to chat away with you during the session (it may look like I'm not doing much) but it's how I get the best from you and authenticity in the photos. I direct and guide the session so don’t worry if you have never had a shoot before. It might feel strange being in front of the camera at first, but you will relax during the session and get used to it, I promise.
Do ask your tutor or agent what they recommend here and I'm happy to offer guidance too. For best results, make sure you prepare everything beforehand. Click here to visit my blog for a few ideas right now...
(More relaxed pace - ideal for those who need a several headshots and want to try a few different backgrounds and looks)

Turn up and enjoy the shoot. The shoot will either be in my home studio (Albert Road, Epsom KT17) or in an agreed location.
You will receive a link to a private, online gallery, soon after the session. Your gallery will feature your best images – from which you can select your favourites.
Once you have made your selection, I'll retouch and upload them to your gallery in approx one week. You'll be able to download your headshots from within your gallery in colour, black & white, high and low res digital files.
If you need your headshots sooner, please let me know at time of booking and I'll do my best to get them to you quickly.
My home studio is located in Epsom, Surrey KT17 (10 minutes walk from Laine Theatre Arts). On-street parking is available.

Yes absolutely, I'm very happy to show you the back of the camera during the shoot, so you can see how things are going, and we can change things up if we need to.
Allow approx 15-minutes per look.
Soon after the shoot, you'll be sent a link to a gallery containing your best images. The images are watermarked. You are welcome to share the gallery with others to help you choose your favourites.
Retouching means editing an image for small details.
Distractions such as stray hairs and temporary blemishes are removed so that the focus is on your expression. Retouching is subtle, it serves to complement the image, not to change how you look. You will look like you on a really good day!
Images are also optimised for brightness, colour and contrast.
Yes but only during outdoor sessions - there simply isn't enough room in my studio.
Potentially yes. The minimum space needed to set up the studio and have room to manoeuvre is 4m x 4m, with a minimum ceiling height of 2.7m. However, a slightly larger room would be ideal, as there is more room to manoeuvre.
It may be possible to do the shoot in a smaller space, providing there is a suitable backdrop.
Please contact me with your requirements if you'd like to discuss this.
A quick overview: I have been double vaccinated and do regular lateral flow tests. My studio is very well ventilated.
Please postpone your shoot if you have tested positive for Covid or are showing any symptoms. Thank you.
