Children’s Photography

If you’re looking for an experienced children’s photographer in Surrey who goes the extra mile for natural expressions from your child, then you’re in the right place. Based in Epsom, I offer children's photography sessions across Epsom, Surrey and South West London in a range of beautiful outdoor locations or at your home. My kids' photoshoots are designed with your child’s personality at its heart of it so they just have fun and I capture them being themselves.

As a mum of two children, I know how special they are and how fast they grow up, little ones don’t stay little for long. Right now, you have a chance to capture your kids exactly as they are – their gorgeous smiles, their cheeky personalities and their delightful innocence. Investing in beautiful photos of your child now will give you a chance to savour those precious moments forever.

This page contains details about What to Expect, Prices, a Booking Form & FAQs. Take a look around and if you have any questions then don't hesitate to get in touch!

“The shoot was fun and full of laughter! Paula made it into a game so she could get the best out of my daughters. I love her relaxed, natural and yet sometimes whimsical style of photography and will treasure the pictures she has taken!”

What to Expect

With an outdoor kid’s photo session, I keep everything as straightforward as possible to take the pressure off you. My sessions are designed with your child in mind taking their age, personality and temperament into consideration. Children are at their best where they feel comfortable, where they’re able to run free or when they’re doing an activity that they enjoy. If your child is happy during the session, all their natural expressions, the ones you want to remember, will be there ready to be captured.

We'll have a quick chat on the phone to discuss your goals for the session, your children's personalities and what they are into. I'll take care of the rest; I'll give you ideas for the perfect location, outfit, activity and more. My sessions are very relaxed, they’re not a performance, your children may take a while to warm up and that's fine. They'll eventually have fun and be themselves and you can just relax and enjoy the experience.
“Our photos are amazing, we’re really pleased with them all. We can’t recommend Paula highly enough – you’re in very safe hands with her and what’s more, you’ll have a blast doing it.!”

Never work with children or animals I know. I have been a professional child photographer for six years and there is not much I haven't seen. I've found that it's easier for them to be running around outside, rather than in a studio environment - which can feel a little strange (I've done lots of kids' studio shoots too). Saying that, there are a few things you can do to help - read this blog post for ideas.

It's no problem at all.

And the consultation is free.
