If you’re looking for Surrey baby photographer who specialises in relaxed, newborn lifestyle sessions at home then you’re in the right place!
My newborn photography is about the simplicity of a natural newborn and their family.
Yes, there is lots of beautiful, posed, prop-based, newborn photography around… but that’s not what you’ll get from me. I focus on the natural bonding and connection between your new little one and his / her immediate family members.
A big advantage of newborn lifestyle photography is that your baby doesn’t have to be less than 12 days old (as they do with posed, newborn photography). The ideal time for newborn, lifestyle photography is when your baby is around 6-8 weeks old.
Based in Epsom, I offer sessions, at your home, across Surrey and South West London.

With a newborn lifestyle session, I keep everything as straightforward as possible to take the pressure off you. I’ll pop over to talk through how the session can work at your home and which rooms we’ll use (usually main bedroom and / or nursery), help you choose what everyone is going to wear, and give you tips for displaying your beautiful images in your home for the impact you’re looking for.
The pricing is split into two parts - session fee and collections.
Session fee includes:
The ideal age for a newborn lifestyle session is when she is 6 – 8 weeks old. She will still look like a newborn then but will be able to smile, lift her head a little & will need fewer feeds / sleeps by then.
With this age 2 1/2 hours is usually enough time for the photo session and feeds, sleeps. However, I’m not a clock watcher and if you or your little one need more time, then it’s not a problem.
Usually newborn sessions take place in a master bedroom and/or your baby’s nursery but can be in any room. The ideal room will have:
Your decor will obviously feature in the photos so make sure there isn’t anything on show that you don’t want to appear in them. Before you book, I will pop over to visit your home to check that it will work for the shoot and suggest different places at your home we can use.
I have children of my own so I understand what it’s like have a newborn. It’s no problem to reschedule if you need to – your booking fee will just be moved to a new convenient date. I would appreciate a minimum of 48 hours’ notice if possible.
